Al Hallab is a family owned business founded in 1881 by the great Grandfather, Mr. Mahmoud Al Hallab, specialized in oriental sweets and confectionary.  The heritage of authentic Lebanese recipes was passed on from one generation to another in which the family name Al Hallab evolved into renowned brand in Lebanese sweets manufacturing and retail.

In 1987, Mr. Ghassan Al Hallab took the brand to a new horizon by incorporating traditional Lebanese Cuisine by opening the first Al Hallab restaurant in Jeddah, KSA.  After great success and multiple branch openings, Mr. Ghassan shifted the restaurant operation to Dubai, UAE.  In Dubai, Al Hallab Restaurant and Sweets opened its door for its customers in 2002.  Since then Al Hallab Restaurant & Sweets has been described as the Mecca destination for Lebanese food enthusiasts with two branches currently operating, and many more on the drawing board.
